Taskflow Node Definitions | Oracle HRMS | Step by Step Screen Shot
Why do we need to use Task flow Node functionality??
For instance, there is an employee who does entry of medical assessments for employees or enters qualification or phone numbers etc.
Sometimes there can be only few employees who do a specific type of data entry like "Medical Assessments"
So what you require is that user could only see the "Medical Assessments" button...and nothing else.
How do we achieve it??
A functionality called "Task flow Definitions" is provided by Oracle.
Navigation:- Global HRMS Manager --> Other Definitions --> Task flow Definitions
Define Task Flow (Medical Assessments)

Switch Responsibility to--> System Administrator
Navigate to Application--> Function

Define a new function and attach the task flow to the function as shown below.
Form Functions --> Description
Form Functions --> Description
Form Functions --> Form

Form Functions --> Form --> Parameters

NOTE:Parameters = WORKFLOW_NAME="FG_HR_MEDICAL". Only the parameter differentiates our new function.
Now you can assign this function to the menu and attach menu to the relevant responsibility and subsequently to theuser.
End result after applying this task flow node is shown below.

Only the medical assessment is visible on the person window as restricted by Task Flow node functionality.
